Super Full Moon of the 28th
Hi Vim, I just heard tonight on a radio show that this is known as a Super Full Moon because on the 27th/28th there will be a Sun/Jupiter alignment in Pices and it will deal out GOOD LUCK to each sign. So, go and buy a LOTTO TICKET!

Re: "Super Moon"
Didn't hear about the moon, but I did hear the 27th is supposed to be a lucky day.

Hi Melinda! This is probably a good question for Jim Berkland. I do know that full and new moons effect the tides more, and the added water weight "can" effect fault lines. In this case the "Super" part of the full moon is from the Sun/Jupiter alignment. Whether the energy from that alignment can effect fault lines I am not sure.
It seems lately that just looking crossed eyed at a fault line sets them off. They do say that the energy from this aligment will be good luck for us - a positive energy. Blesssings to you and yours melinda.

ok I'm officially conflused!
which is nothing new for me but I googled "super moon" and read that it already happened Jan. 30th and it's when the moon is about 90% of it's closest approach to the earth. In any case, the article at the link is really interesting as it mentions some famous quakes that happened during super moons.

I like the "lucky day" thingy though.

Maybe there is more then one Super Full Moon a year ? They may be calling this a super full moon because of the added energy from this Sun/Jupiter aligment. i don't think that we have been in Kansas in a long time!
