Hi Geenee, crazy weather today! Here in Portland it started out sunny and not at all cold, and then all of a sudden this afternoon it got cold real fast and started to hail. It looked like fluffy snow, but sounded like hail as it hit the ground. Only lasted about 10 minutes, and then it stopped as soon as it started. The sun came back and was shining away, and then a few hours later it suddenly got dark and started hailing again, this time for a while longer.
It sure looked strange - looked like a snowstorm more than hail - against the backdrop of all the early blooming flowers and trees...
Various friends from other parts of town and in other nearby towns said they didn't have any hail, so I guess it was all a bit unpredictable for the meteorologists...
Well, take care!

Well they verified on the news that there was a down draft or something I can't remember now the term going right over me. Tree branches went flying and trees bent way down but didn't break.
