Dream of a Crystal Tiger

Hello... glad I found you all!

I had a dream last night in which I saw a crystal tiger.
It reminded me of yellow calcite or a pale amber-colored quartz with alot of occlusions in it.
I touched it and it felt very much alive in there.
I was with an angel and expressed concern about the tiger being trapped in there... unable to move.
The angel assured me that in that state of immobility and doing nothing, the tiger was surely healing.
I looked inside psychically and saw that indeed his bones were coming back together.
I knew the angel was right.

Not totally sure on the meaning but could be that though some of us feel put on the shelf and isolated right now, we are indeed healing in this down time.
But perhaps someone else has another take on this.
I felt like a child in the dream, trying to understand something.
The frozen tiger made me cry... so sad...

One more thing... the Tiger was one of many such creatures.
They were all leaning on each other, hanging in together.

Hi Vim-
I wonder if the dream has to do with the Chinese New Year and this being the year of the Tiger. Right now I am reading a fantasy novel by Jane Lindskold called Thirteen Orphans that has as its main theme Chinese magical practices and the animal powers associated with the Chinese calendar.
In this novel the Tiger is a powerful character. In part of the story the power of the Tiger is captured in a crystal sphere. Interesting and unusual imagery.
I am a big fan of Lindskold's books- they are well written and quite unique. She has her own website janelindskold.com if you are interested in her work.
I wonder if the crystal animals, including the tiger represent animals that are endangered or going extinct. Perhaps they are being preserved in spirit or in suspended animation to be brought back at some future time or be taken to another world entirely. Just a thought...

Hard to say but I can undetstand your feelings, my totem is the tiger.

Your description of the crystal sounds like citrine to me. I wear a citrine crystal that a friend gave me. They can be yellow to brown. Mine is a golden yellow color.

I looked up the healing properties of citrine and here's what I found:

I like the part about it carrying the healing properties of the sun. Like a little sun drop. Kind of cool huh? Do any of those healing properties sound like something that could be good for you too? As in, the tiger represents an aspect of yourself?
