Hi Mike. That quake occurred 19Km outside my radius. The window hasn't closed yet, but odds for it to occur where I said it should went down. Can't win them all. I had 3 locations and picked the wrong one. One of the locations was almost dead on, but it was also the one least likely to occur. Just goes to show what bad math can do. Drats. Take Care...Don

Hi Mike. Smart move. Let the other idiots like me try to predict them. That way you don't have to explain why you missed it or why to got a hit. Take Care...The idiot Don

Hi DearWife - I can't help wondering if that cute stray dog who appeared in your yard a few days ago might have been bothered by increased seismic strains before this little quake, hence he bolted from home...?

3.2 SF Bay Empty Amtrak train hit an East Bay bus that stalled on tracks this morning

    Post  Mary/Portland, OR Thu 04 Mar 2010, 1:44 am

I'm curious to know why this bus stalled yesterday afternoon and then again this morning - electromagnetic disturbances in SF Bay Area, perhaps??? Here's the news article:

Train hits empty AC Transit bus

Henry K. Lee, Chronicle Staff Writer

    Wednesday, March 3, 2010

(03-03) 15:31 PST OAKLAND -- An Amtrak train hit an empty AC Transit bus that had stalled on the tracks in Oakland this morning, authorities said.

The southbound train hit the articulated bus at a crossing on 66th Avenue west of San Leandro Street at about 6:30 a.m., said Amtrak spokeswoman Vernaé Graham. The bus driver fled when the vehicle stalled, and there were no passengers onboard.

No one on the train was hurt when it slammed into the bus, splitting the vehicle in two.

The same driver had reported a brief stall on the same bus Tuesday, but the bus apparently was not taken out of service, an AC Transit spokesman said.
