No kidding! Seems like the New Madrid is doing a bit of stretching after a long nap, huh?

Hopefully it stays at that! Gee, what a place to live. They get to deal with blizzards, tornadoes and earthquakes. At least I've only lived in places where it's one or the other.

If my arm pain today was NM, it's not done yet. I still feel it. IF it's OK, it's not here yet.

What if all of the faster spin from the Chile axis offset is putting more strain on the other faults? Like inertia? It may not feel like much to us, but to a fault it sure might cause more upward pressure. Combine that with those new solar flares. Just a thought.
