Hello,
While thinking about our corn - which I eat more rarely now because the StarLink and other Monsanto-altered varieties are all contaminating the plant-- I'm wondering if we can ever get rid of all the regulations forcing the plants to be patented. I'd like to go back to free range plants and not see another of these artificially manipulated plants for a long while.
What allows our own government to keep these regulations in effect, and can our problems with government greed be overcome by electing an independent party that undoes the siphoning of money to companies that harm the food chain?
(I always think of Corn on Thanksgiving - just a habit I guess.)
