The Meeting being Held in an Unsecure Building

Thanks for posting this dream, DearWife, since it consolidates most of the themes of this week. I'm glad your flexibility and courage resulted in the happy ending of getting the redoubtable Mighty dog and your son out of the threatened building.

I think of the demonaic of Corsi , Luke 8:34 and the difficulty of the people surrounding the event to hear of it and understand the special transformation of the bad actor who plagued their town's outskirts. Here a man riven and tossed by the whims of multiple voices was instantly turned into a man that was once again become rational. The people, trying to shake themselves and make themselves accustomed to the strangeness of this sudden cure of the horrible threatening presence on the edge of their community, are described in Luke 8:34

"When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country. Then people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. And those who had seen it told them how he who had been possessed with demons was healed. Then all the people of the surrounding country of the Gerasenes asked him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear; so he got into his boat and returned."

So, it is meant for us to understand that the nature of humans is such that the possible contamination of the psyche is an ever-present danger but there is deliverance for that ill also. And we have reached the point of our culture where there is enough fear to cause such contamination of the group-think. Be not afraid, and act with prudence among those who surround you, so that the grace you have been blessed with, may transform the plans of the enemy into dust.
