Lost/Found

Well I checked three local papers for lost/found ads regarding pets.

A total of 14 ads were placed for the last week, which would end with today.

Tomorrow I will post the results again and keep a running daily tab.

Also check craigslist too! They have a L&F section and a lot of people post ads there.

What a great idea--thanks for doing that. There's little doubt that animals sense these things. Sumatra (2004) is a classic example: people went down to the beach to get a closer look as the water receded (prior to the tsunami) but the animals were headed for higher ground. It's just a matter of figuring out how each animal might react before a quake (or whatever event the animal might be sensing).

***Today's results include craigslist. The previous post on 03/01/2010 did not include them so that is why there is such a large difference in the total. The craigslist number is from 02/23/2010 thru 03/02/2010.
