Elevated radiation levels in both the Hatian and chile quakes!

Hey Ladies and Gents!

There was a post on earthboppin on Jan 13th from Vim/PA, in reference to elevated X-ray levels before Haiti quake. I checked out the levels for the Chile quake and guess what they were elevated as well. I'm not sure what that means. Does anyone know what if any role this may play in both quakes? Thanks.

Can you explain what you mean by elevated X-Ray levels a bit more? The X-Ray flux measured by the GOES satellites has been pretty flat for the last 3 days. Are you talking about something else? Just trying to understand.

When I checked the website the radiation was elevated on the 27th as it was elevated prior to the Haiti quake..I was really following up on a post from earthboppin. Just an observation.
