Mighty running away... Empty Mighty running away...

Post  DearWife on Sun 22 May 2011, 4:55 pm

I was just awaken by the caw of a Raven. The raven have recently gathered down here with us, and have taken their stay. One day, I saw one upon the neighbors palm tree, and another two upon the light pole at the intersection with busy traffic. I looked up and one kept cawing and cawing.

    Here is the dream:

Within a dream, I saw my husband had the gate open. When I saw that, I said to him, “What's wrong with you, you know that Mighty is going to escape.” And sure enough, when I said that, I saw him across the street. Now when I saw that, I knew I had to get him. And I left out to fetch him. My husband tried to stop me, but I told him I had to get him. I didn't care I was in my night clothes, for it was night.

And so, I saw as he crossed back this side of the street. He began to head towards the main road which in the dream had one way traffic. I shouted to the illegals that were lined up the road, “Hey, someone catch that dog!” One man grabbed at him but Mighty escaped his clutches and headed towards that busy road.

When the light turned green for all those cars, I knew that Mighty could die. And as I watched the buses, the cars, all kinds of different cars pass by on the one way road, I saw as Mighty weaved back and forth dodging the cars. He was not afraid.

I then saw myself on the other side of that road...and Mighty continued to go further and further. When I saw that, I began to be sad and said within my heart, “He's never coming back.” But behold, when the thought of me saying that ended, I saw Mighty running as fast as he could back towards me and leaped into my arms. And my sadness was turned to joy.

And these words came back to remembrance:

“After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: For I go to the father. Then said some of his disciples between themselves: what is this that he saith unto us, after a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: and that I go to the father. They said therefore: what is this that he saith after a while? we cannot tell what he saith. Jesus perceived that they would ask him, and said unto them: This is it that ye enquire of between yourselves, that I said after a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me. Verily, verily I say unto you: ye shall weep and lament and the world shall rejoice. Ye shall sorrow: but your sorrow shall be turned to joy.

A woman when she travaileth hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembreth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now are in sorrow: but I will see you again, and your hearts shall rejoice, and your joy shall no man take from you. And in that day shall ye ask me no question. Verily, verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive it: that your joy may be full.

These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs. The time will come when I shall no more speak to you in proverbs: but I shall show you plainly from my father. At that day shall ye ask in mine name. And I say not unto you that I will speak unto my father for you. For the father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I went out from the father, and came into the world: and I leave the world again, and go to the father.

His disciples said unto him: lo now speakest thou plainly, and thou usest no proverb. Now know we that thou understandest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee any question. Therefore believe we that thou camest from God. Jesus answered them: Now ye do believe. Behold the hour draweth nigh, and is already come that ye shall be scattered every man his ways, and shall leave me alone. And yet am I not alone. For the father is with me.

These words have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. For in the world shall ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
